For many months, HR Source has been preparing for the transition to a new “AMS,” or association management system. 

Our AMS is the behind-the-scenes software wizard that facilitates pretty much everything we do at HR Source. It houses member records, processes financial transactions, generates our website, provides online commerce, and powers the member communities in HR Exchange. It allows our members to access survey reports, handles training and event registrations and logistics, delivers information to members via automated email, and supports our staff serving members through the HR Hotline. Plus, a whole lot more!

Although only 10 years old, by today’s IT standards, our current database is becoming the landline in an iPhone world. As members, you deserve better, so stand back for the universally dreaded “software update.”

Our website will go offline at about noon on Friday, September 5. Then, if all goes according to plan, we should be up and running by noon on Monday, September 8. Our online communities in the HR Exchange will also be unavailable during the same period. 

Things may be a little glitchy for the first day or so, despite our careful plan to make the transition seamless. (IT, right?) So, we appreciate your patience, and remember, you can aways call us during business hours at 800-448-4584.

P.S. A little shout-out to Association Technologies, HR Source member and longtime IT services provider, who nudges, cajoles, and drags us ever forward. So often, we serve you better because they serve us well.
